I've been the girl who just did a ton of cardio because that's all I knew. The girl who was stuck in the mindset of thinking I needed to eat only plain chicken and broccoli 6 x per day to get results (even though I hate veg!). I was then the girl who wanted to build some curves but was afraid to increase the amount of food I ate because I knew I'd see the scale increase too. Ironic hey? This led to me developing a negative relationship with both myself and with food.
But I'm now the girl who has lived and learned. I do things my own way. I've found what works best for me. I encourage this for every single person I work with, as there is no 'one-size-fits-all'.
I believe that every female should feel strong, sexy, capable and confident within their own skin! We are more than just a body or a number on the scale, despite what the media tells us! I'm a huge advocate of balance, and keeping your health and social life a priority whilst reaching your goals - because it absolutely is possible!
I've been on both ends of the spectrum - I've been stuck in a rut of restricting myself, with a lack of knowledge, not enjoying my training/diet and feeling negative towards myself. I've dieted to the extremes and coached myself through bikini competing, taking home the British title and 6th place in Europe. To now, where I live my happy medium. I love to share my knowledge and experience and I'm so passionate about helping other females find they're strong - both physically and mentally - through the power of training, nutrition and mindset! Because feeling strong and confident is the most empowering feeling for a woman in my eyes!
