Steve Phillips
Hi, I'm Steve.
I started my health and fitness journey in 2012 and during that time I have gained an exemplary amount of knowledge through training with other professionals and self-developmental research.
After completing my National Diploma in Sports Science, I later became interested in the bridges between mental and physical health and took to studying a BSc in Mental Health Nursing in 2018. My aim is to help educate and develop others in both psychological and physiological health and help transform many people’s lives by analysing and optimising aspects such as digestion, adrenals, sleep and stress before gradually increasing output from both training volume and NEAT (non-exercise activity thermogenesis). This a structured process all my clients go through before starting their journey to optimise results.
Being involved in a variety of different sports ranging from; football, rugby, martial arts and boxing. I believe these sports have allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the biomechanics and anatomy of the body and thus being able to adapt to sports-specific training techniques.
Whether your goals are physical; (gaining muscle, eliminating fat, improving performance in sports) Or psychological; (gaining confidence, reducing stress and anxiety). You should capitalise on the opportunity you are presenting yourself by coming to have a chat with me.
