I am a driven, sociable and empathetic person. I strive on helping people and seeing them happy and confident in their own skin as I believe that both the way that we feel internally does reflect externally. I want to help people in reaching their individual goals relating to general fitness, nutrition, weight loss, building strength, wellbeing/reducing daily stresses, or making lifestyle changes to improve health.
I started my own fitness journey with the want of emotional and physical self-improvement for myself, after having my son a lot changed in my life. I was made redundant from my job in education that I’d been in for many years at first I felt down, but then it gave me reflection time and the ammunition to invest in myself and think about pursuing something new.
A friend of mine was working as a PT and gave me that push of encouragement, I feel that there are times that we all need a push. He told me that he thought I had the people skills and energy for the role, so I really understand the importance of having someone to guide and support you when are starting something new, to see you through your challenges and also to recognise your achievements. I have since started on my journey of turning passion into a career.
