I'm Scott, and I'm a Personal Trainer here at PureGym. I have spent the last three years on my own fitness journey. In the beginning; I was 18 stone, not looking after myself, and feeling really bad about it. I've always been into sport, but it was my unhealthy eating habits and lack of motivation which was keeping me big. So, I changed my life around; I moved out from home, started hitting the gym, and started taking control of my life.
Three years later: I am now 11 stone, much healthier both mentally and physically. I haven't looked back since, exercise is such a powerful thing, it doesn't just make you look good it makes you feel good every single time. I know what it is like to feel like you can't shift that weight and everything you try just doesn't seem to work. This mental agony can create low self-esteem and low confidence, as I have experienced myself.
But, I'm here to tell you that it is not impossible. That with hard graft and determination you can get what you want and I'm here to help. I will coach, guide, and motivate you every step of the way, inside and outside of the gym. I can also create bespoke nutrition plans that will make your fitness goals a reality.
