Robbie Binns
A bit about my background, I started training at the beginning of 2016. The reason behind this is I was always the small one of my group of friends with very little confidence. At this point I was a first year student at university studying business and management. After around six months of training and being more involved in the industry the love for fitness and bodybuilding started to develop.
After going through a journey with exercise and nutrition and growing a passion for it I have realised that it isn’t only the physical and health benefits that make people enjoy fitness. It’s also the mental benefits I feel as you go through the stages of a body transformation or generally living a healthier lifestyle, you realise a real mental shift, you will notice your confidence and mental state change dramatically. This is where my drive comes to motivate and train people to help them realise that fitness can better their lives in so many different ways.
I found myself more invested in researching about the fitness industry and bodybuilding than my university work and after the second year decided that university wasn’t for me I was more suited to the fitness industry and needed to follow my passion. I left university in 2017 and immediately started the level 2 Fitness Instructor course, then onto a level 3 Personal Trainer course.
The passion I had for the industry and the fact that I enjoyed the training aspect pushed me to where I am today.
