“Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever.”

Being brought up in a remote village in the Western Highlands I was brought up on an ethos of hard work. This is something that is now hard-wired into whatever I put my mind to, whether it is working on my own fitness goals or completing my honours degree in Sports Coaching and Development. I’ve always enjoyed helping people achieve their goals and the reward in seeing people transform their life for the better is something in which I can happily have a career in.

My background has always been orientated around sports and fitness. I have been consistently going to the gym for two years and my only regret is that I didn’t start going sooner. When I turned 16 I completed my Lifeguard training and worked fulltime at my local leisure centre which was the start of my career in the health sector. When I moved to start University I was frankly overwhelmed with the opportunities in front of me, competing in university sports teams, going to Sweden twice to coach basketball and strength and conditioning, and most importantly allowing me to complete my Personal Training qualification. Being brought up in a rural community I wanted to grasp every hold of every experience I could do to better my knowledge when I was at University.

I can promise you that I will put 100% effort into helping you achieve whatever fitness goal you have in mind. I believe that a personal approach to Personal Training is the best combination, having a trustworthy, approachable, and knowledgeable Personal Trainer is what I strive to achieve.
