Kerry Walker
Hi, I'm Kerry! I've been a Personal Trainer since April 2014. Since becoming a PT I've tried to learn as much about exercise and training as I can. I used to be a cardio queen and did the typical female thing of staying away from the weights area. Not because I was scared, more because I had no idea what I was doing! However, in the last four years I've embraced the weightlifting lifestyle and I've never looked back! I have a lot of enthusiasm and all I want is for you to love exercising as much as I do!
I have a BSc in Sports Therapy which has allowed me to work with a range of people, including semi-professional athletes. I've worked as a sports therapist at the London and York Marathons, the Great North Run, York City Athletics Club and also at the 2012 Veterans Roller Hockey World Championships in Turin!
My goal isn't to get you a six pack or a thigh gap, it's to help you to enjoy exercise and feel confident in both the gym environment and your own skin. I believe in working hard but enjoying yourself at the same time, otherwise, what's the point?
