Jodie Bestwick

From an early age, I was committed to being the strongest and quickest. Through my sporting progressions in athletics, I was eager to develop my knowledge to make myself the best I could be. Unfortunately battling through a serious injury had me leave my beloved sport; not only was I inspired, I was motivated to pick myself back up and learn to fix myself but to also find another place to apply my strength capabilities; the gym!

In 2012 I graduated with a BSc Sport and Exercise Science and fortunately landed numerous positions/experiences as a Personal Trainer and Strength & Conditioning Coach. Through the process of me achieving my own goals, I became passionate about helping others achieve their goals. Now as a Personal Trainer I want to meet and exceed my clients’ goals/results through appropriate strategies to make them the best they can be and overcome any barriers and limitations.

I’ve been fortunate to work with clients from the general public through to physique competitors, athletes and professional sports clubs with all backgrounds from grass root to elite level including GB Canoe, International Equestrian, Nottingham Forest Football Club, East Midlands Fencing and many more.

Although knowledge is power, experience is vital. As a PT I continually love to learn whether this is through reading or practical application. I would never give my clients training that I hadn’t tried myself or has already been proven effective by science or experience.

My Philosophy:

I take pride in every aspect of systematically progressing and helping my clients. Each and every client is unique and a one size fit approach does not work when it comes to the complexities within nutrition and exercise.

I commit myself fully to each and every client. My driving passion and philosophy is simple; I want to help people of all ages and abilities, no matter whether you’re a busy career professional or an elite athlete; I want to train you!
