Jan Malloch
Unlike the vast majority of Personal Trainers, I didn’t “get into fitness” until I was 60. Up until then, I had been living a largely sedentary life without too much regard to what I was eating. However, I couldn’t ignore the numerous reports about how important exercise and good nutrition is to help older people to reduce their risks of heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes, some cancers, depression, and dementia.
These facts gave me the necessary impetus to become fitter and to lose my excess weight. I made a commitment to qualify as a Personal Trainer to help others to make lifestyle changes so that they too could enjoy a much improved quality of life.
I know how it feels to lack the necessary energy and stamina to do many everyday things. I know how it feels to be exhausted after using the stairs or trying to play with my grandkids. I also know that you too can make the necessary changes to be fitter and healthier - no matter your age.
Let’s work together to help you make those lifestyle changes to ensure that you feel fit and fabulous and enjoy an amazing quality of life as you get older! Contact me now to find out more about my Individual and Group Personal Training, designed especially for older adults.
