Irene Panagiotou
I’m Irene. I am a clinical exercise physiologist and exercise and sports scientist from Sydney, Australia.
I use exercise as a form of medicine to manage anyone with a chronic condition ( diabetes, CVD, osteoarthritis, chronic pain etc...) and injury. My focuses are rehabilitation, performance and lifestyle change. In my eyes exercise should be tailored and evidence-based.
I am currently working with a physiotherapy institute for my clinical reformer Pilates certification.
A bit about me:
I have a first-hand understanding of living with a chronic condition and have used clinically evidence-based exercise to manage it. I am passionate about helping people perform better physically and mentally and ultimately improving their quality of life.
Whether your goals are to improve your performance, rehab an injury or work towards a healthier lifestyle, as an allied health professional I am here to guide, manage and support you and provide you with the tools necessary to live a life without limits. I also love a good laugh so don’t be afraid to come have a chat with me on the gym floor.
