For me, Personal Training is all about helping you create and maintain a new and better lifestyle for yourself, and it all begins with your state of mind.
The modern world has ironically made it both harder and easier for us to do this, but it's also very easy to lack one of the most essential aspects of getting, and staying, on the road to a new life: Discipline. Discipline is essential, without it we remain stagnant and unchanging. Combine discipline with focus and you'll achieve persistence and dedication. Once you're in this state of mind you'll be able to maintain a strong path towards your goal, learning from failures and growing from achievements.
From playing rugby, tennis, practising Tae Kwon Do from a young age, competing in national events with the Army Cadets, and going on to play American Football for the University of Edinburgh, I've gathered a great deal of experience of what it takes to successfully adapt to new kinds of sports and exercises. My focus now is on physique development which has brought a new series of challenges to face and overcome, the initial step in doing so is cultivating the state of mind needed to succeed.
When training with me, I use efficient and specific techniques and exercises to install and reinforce discipline into your life, helping you create a healthier and happier lifestyle through exercise and diet, and a stronger and more independent state of mind.
