Dave Murray

As a qualified Strength & Conditioning coach, I have an extensive background in learning and competing in sport. As a young swimmer, I represented my home country, Scotland, for a number of years before going on to study a BSc sports science degree. I paired my athlete knowledge with the research and specialised in Strength & Conditioning, and after graduating I honed in my skills and became more technical by qualifying as a Level 4 S&C coach.

At this point you may have realised sport and fitness are everything to me. I have had my brushes both with success and injury, going from swimming competitively to developing a rotator cuff injury which in turn prevented me from progressing in a sport I love. My experiences have led me to establish my place as a Strength & Conditioning coach, giving me the drive to help others, like you, improve performance and develop form to prevent injuries and increase success.

Strength & Conditioning was developed to take professional athletes to optimum performance. Unfortunately, at the time I was competing access to Strength & Conditioning was not widely available. Now, Strength & Conditioning is accessible to anyone, working towards any goal, big or small. It is key to keep the body working to its best ability. The theories and practices of improving the strength of muscles and joints, allowing greater movement, and greater results, can be applied to everyone. It is just as important to build strong functioning bodies for day to day life as it is to improve upon sporting performances.

Strength & Conditioning will give you the potential to be the best you yet. I can help you move more efficiently, reduce pain, gain strength and achieve your personal fitness goals from day one. Together we can create a more positive and pro-active body and mindset, unleashing your full body potential.
