Craig Greening

I have trained myself and helped others for a number of years now, using many different training methods to improve general health, fitness, muscle building, mobility and weight management. Studying in different areas of fitness has helped me to recognise that not everyone’s body reacts the same to certain types of exercise, personal lifestyles (work, daily routines, sleep etc.), day to day nutrition and hydration levels play a huge part in the body reacting positively to exercise.

Helping clients break down their day to day lifestyle and helping them to understand these effects can promote better results in the gym sooner.

Weight lifting
I enjoy helping clients learn to lift weights safely and effective! Olympic lifting (deadlift, squat, snatch and cleans) are some of my favourite exercises with some of the best benefits to general health and fitness. Weight training is a great way to help sculpt the body that you want, targeting individual muscle groups can increase/decrease the size of that area. Lifting weights can also help to reduce excess body fat which then gives you a toned appearance, people say “tone up” when really you're asking for is to reduce body fat enough to see the built muscle underneath, whether that’s a slender athletic look or the more bodybuilding type of appearance, doing this method of training alongside a good steady weekly cardio routine will help massively.

I am passionate and really enjoy my job, I enjoy seeing clients happy and motivated about their sessions, through Personal Training with clients I am lucky enough to see clients smash goals that have been set, achieve things that they never thought possible and that also have positive life-changing effects, you’ll get out what you put into training I truly believe this and with the right support and motivation anything is possible.
