I've always been a huge fitness fanatic! When someone comes up to me and talks about fitness I simply cannot stop talking, it’s a huge part of my life.
For anyone who wants to give it a go, I take my hat off to you. No matter if you’re just starting out or want advice, I'll give you 110%. Whether you are looking to achieve a specific goal, or you just want to get cardiovascular fit, lose fat or strength train, I can help with that, you are never too young or too old to start your journey.
I specialise in running - predominantly long distance, cardiovascular training, and strength training. My interest in health and fitness began when I started running at the age of 14 and did my first half marathon at 16, from then I knew I loved running and did my first full marathon at 19. It wasn’t until my second marathon that I really understood and respected the distance after hitting the lactic acid threshold at mile 18. During this time, I learnt a great deal about the importance of core strength and endurance building and what a lesson that was! I’ve recently done my 5th marathon and my first Tough Mudder and still learning!
I have been a qualified Personal Trainer for three years now at my business, Build Fitness. I am excited to be working at PureGym and hope to work with a range of different people.
