London Covent Garden Closure FAQs
We’re sorry to announce PureGym Covent Garden is closing permanently on the 10th March 2020 due to unforeseen complexities with neighbouring properties. To help you find an alternative PureGym we’re giving you free national access to all open PureGyms in the UK until the 10th March. The below section may help to answer any questions you may have, if you can’t find what you are looking for, please contact our Member Services team on 0344 477 0005 and they will be able to help.

We are having to close PureGym Covent Garden due to unforeseen complexities with neighbouring properties which are out of our control.

PureGym Covent Garden will close on 10th March 2020.

If you’re on a monthly Direct Debit membership your membership will finish on the 10th March 2020. If you wish to continue with your membership, you can transfer your membership to a different PureGym. If you switch to a more expensive gym, we will honour your current rate for the first 3 months (you won’t pay any more than you do now). If you switch to a less expensive gym you will pay the new price straight away. You can give our Member Services Team a call on 0344 477 0005 to discuss this further.

Your membership will end as of 10th March 2020, the closure date of the gym.

If you’re wanting to cancel with immediate effect, give our Member Services team a call on 0344 477 0005 and we will let you know if you’re entitled to a pro rata refund.

You can easily transfer your membership to a different PureGym by calling our Member Services Team. If you choose to join a gym which is currently priced higher than Covent Garden, you will keep your current rate for the first 3 months, after 3 months it will increase to the rate of your new gym. If you choose a gym which is priced lower than Covent Garden, you will pay the new lower price.

You can use any PureGym the member is using until 10th March and thereafter whichever gym they choose as their first gym.

Please speak to your Personal Trainer regarding your PT sessions, arrangements will be made for you to continue with your sessions at an alternative PureGym.

If your membership is currently frozen it will continue with the freeze until it cancels down on 10th March. If you wish to discuss this further call our Member Services team on 0344 477 0005.

You aren’t able to cancel your membership online, however if you are wanting to cancel your membership will automatically cancel as of 10th March 2020.

The closest gyms to PureGym Covent Garden are PureGym Holborn and PureGym Farringdon. We have over 60 PureGyms across London, so you can choose one which is close to home, work or on your commuter route.

Please remove all items from your locker before the 10th March, after this date we will no longer have access to these belongings.

From 10th March you will no longer be able to use PureGym Covent Garden as your secondary gym. Please log into your Member’s Area online to view which gyms you are able to access.
